Sherie Bodenheimer

Sales Manager

In 2000, Sherie began her career in the hospitality industry through her work in event planning and convention services. A native of New Orleans who grew up in the famous French Quarter, she was drawn to the industry from an early age, understanding how tourism and hospitality are paramount to the success of the city. 

Sherie went on to receive her B.S. in Business Administration from the University of New Orleans, then started working for Starwood at the Sheraton New Orleans.  As she moved up throughout the brand, working in sales and convention service at the W New Orleans and the Westin Peachtree Plaza in Atlanta, her attention to detail and her exemplary customer retention made her very successful in the meetings industry.  Her skills catapulted her into being recruited by American Express Global Business Travel, giving her the opportunity to create amazing experiences for people all over the world and liaise with her international peers within the meetings industry. 

Sherie’s passion is creating unique experiences with exceptional customer service. She is active in the events industry and has served on the Board of NACE. Community service is equally important to her, and she is currently on the Board of Directors for the Jefferson Children’s Advocacy Center, a member of NOLA Gold Rugby Foundation, and part of Team MOP for Hogs for the Cause, all of which benefit children and young adults who face hardship.  She is also a part of the Muff-A-Lottas dance troupe, and she has been shimmying down the streets of New Orleans during Mardi Gras in her 1950’s waitress costume for the last 7 years!
