Jamie Thorpe, Program Manager for Access DMC is a New Orleans transplant with experience balancing technical details with creativity and design. Originally from Minneapolis, MN, she earned an Accounting degree and worked in a CPA firm for two years. Jamie then decided to shift a longstanding photography hobby into a full time career and moved to New Orleans in 2008 to become the Photography Manager at a local studio. Jamie entered the event world as a wedding photographer, and then began working in events full time managing logistics and sales at a regional floral event company for 3 years before joining the ACCESS team in spring 2019. She loves the blend of creativity and detail involved with producing and managing the on-site needs of events. Jamie is currently engaged and enjoys gardening, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her energetic pitbull mix named Lily.
