“Julie Ann Gautreaux, born and raised in New Orleans, received her Bachelor of Fine Arts at Louisiana State University in 2010. She later continued her education at The University of New Orleans, this time to peruse her Masters of Science in the Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism program.

Julie joined the ACCESS New Orleans team as an intern in January of 2015; and in July she was welcomed with open arms to the team full time as a Program Coordinator. Her current duties include contacting vendors for proposals, creating contacts and run of shows, verifying vendors for assignments contracted, creating schedules and time lines for contracted business, establishing and conducting client site visits, working events as an assistant in production, updating data bases for current rates and insurance, supporting sales team with creative proposals and marketing materials, creating in house marketing and promoting social media, maintaining the local website, and working as production manager of festival, meeting management and conference.

As of June 2018, Julie will be The VP of Communications on the Board of The MPI Gulf States Chapter. In June of 2016 she won the MPI Chapter Rising Star Award and she has also been the recipient of several MPI Foundation Scholarships. Through this organization she is working hard to earn her CMP in August of 2018. 

In her spare time, Julie enjoys Paleo cooking and baking, photography, playing pool, playing roller derby, listening to local bands, learning to play the bass, road tripping and camping with loved ones, snuggling with her cats, and being a local in her favorite city, New Orleans."
